Private Health Insurance Contribution To Public Hospital Funding

In 2010, the Private Health Insurance industry paid out more than six hundred million dollars (A$600,000,000) to the Public Hospital sector.  As the table below shows, this represents more than double the amount Private Health Insurance has paid out in 2001.
