Highest Payments Made on Behalf of Members in 2009

The highest claim paid by a Private Health Insurer in 2009 was a staggering A$439,626. The total amount paid by Private Health Insurance for the top 10 claims was almost $3Million (A$2,947,170).  As the table below shows these payments were made to a range of demographics from young, middle aged and aged members.
