General Treatment Costs Paid by Health Funds 2009-2010

Between 45-55% of all general treatment costs were paid by Health Funds.  General Treatments included Dental (49%), Chiro (51%), Podiatry (51%), Optical (48%) and complimentary treatments such as Acupuncture (51%) and Natural Therapy (43%). As the graph below shows, Health Funds paid providers for a range of general treatment services.
